1970: The flight crew of Air Canada Flight 621 accidentally deploy ground spoilers before landing, causing the DC-8 to touch down hard on the runway at Toronto International Airport and lose an engine. Fuel beings to leak, and during the go-around attempt a series of explosions destroy much of the right wing. The plane crashes with no survivors.
